Devoted Guardians Sponsors Ms. Wheelchair Arizona 2025: Championing Empowerment Beyond Barriers

At Devoted Guardians, we believe in more than just delivering care—we believe in supporting the voices, missions, and movements that create meaningful change in the lives of individuals and communities. That’s why we are proud to announce our sponsorship of Latrice Jackson-Anderson, the newly crowned Ms. Wheelchair Arizona 2025.

Latrice’s platform, “Empowerment Beyond Barriers,” is a powerful call to action that advocates for survivors of violence, particularly within the disabled community. As a survivor of child domestic violence herself and a credentialed victim advocate with more than 15 years of experience, Latrice brings both professional and deeply personal insight to her work. Her mission is to shine a light on the unique and often overlooked needs of disabled survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, and child abuse.

Through her advocacy, Latrice is working to bridge the gap between shelter services and essential support systems—such as caregiving, service dog inclusion, and disability accommodations—that allow survivors with disabilities to heal and thrive. She is also actively pursuing her second Master’s degree in Counseling at Arizona State University, further strengthening her ability to serve those in need.

“My goal is to ensure that shelters and advocacy agencies understand the vital role caregivers play in the lives of those living with disabilities,” Latrice shares. “We all deserve access to safety, support, and empowerment—regardless of ability.”

Devoted Guardians is honored to sponsor Latrice as she represents Arizona at the Ms. Wheelchair America competition this week. Our sponsorship will help support her travel, lodging, and essential accommodations so she can focus on spreading her message and advocating for systemic change.

We stand firmly behind Latrice’s message and mission. As a caregiving agency, we understand how critical compassionate, informed care is to a person’s quality of life—and we are proud to amplify her voice in a space that urgently needs it.
