People with monoplegia or hemiplegia can live alone. However, people who cannot move over 75 percent of their bodies might need continuous assistance and find it challenging to live alone.

If you can’t move your legs, stand up, or walk, it can lead to several other conditions, some minor and some life-threatening.

Bedsores, UTIs, circulatory diseases, and depression are some of the most common problems with being paralyzed.
