Tempe, AZ – Devoted Guardians understands just how difficult things can be for loved ones who are caring for their parents or their spouse.
“Many times family caregivers either feel guilty about leaving their loved ones or they don’t feel they can trust someone else to care for them, even for a just few hours”, says Aaron Sinykin, owner of Devoted Guardians. Sinykin goes on to say, “This is why our company does such a thorough job of screening both our caregivers and our clients. We know how important it is for everyone involved to feel confident and comfortable with the caregiver they’ve been assigned.”
May is Older Americans Month and to honor all of the older Americans in the Phoenix metro area, Devoted Guardians is donating four hours of home care services to four family caregivers across the valley.
If you yourself are caring for a loved one and you need a break or if you know of someone who is caring for a loved one that needs a break, take 5 minutes and complete this nomination form.
“We see it over and over again with family caregivers. They spend all of their time caring for their loved one and then they end up in the hospital with pneumonia or some other kind of illness that was brought on by exhaustion”, states Sinykin. “When that happens, things really get hard because now both the family caregiver and their loved one are at risk. It is so important for family caregivers to have respite time so they can recharge and do something they enjoy without worrying about what is going on at home”, says Sinykin.
Devoted Guardians is an affordable non-medical home care provider of companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, bathing assistance and medication reminders.
